By accessing or using MidiCrisis ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or other harmful content.

Content You Upload

You are solely responsible for any files you upload to the Service.

By uploading a MIDI file or any other content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the file or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and use it on the Service.
  • Your use of the file does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
  • You will not upload files that you have obtained without authorization, including pirated, stolen, or unlawfully distributed content.

MidiCrisis is a practice tool designed for personal learning. We do not grant you any rights to redistribute copyrighted material, and using the Service does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. If you are unsure whether you have the right to upload a particular file, do not upload it.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by MidiCrisis and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you upload, subject to the limited license you grant us to operate the Service (e.g., processing and storing your files).

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe infringes on the rights of others. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MidiCrisis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
